About foodservicegirl

I am a 54 year old woman whose husband left after 20yrs. of marriage, and thats not even the bad part. He left me with nothing...long story. Thing is, I have no formal education to get a job that will actually support me. I want to start a food service business, buy a food catering van and go from place to place selling food items. What I need is, info on how to go about getting a grant/loan to get it started. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

Trouble moving out/Buying a car

My name is Wesley McDermid. I turned 18 in June of 2005, and now I'm pressured by social (as well as personal) standards to get out on my own and become another functioning member of society. I'm living in rural Pennsylvania, and consequently my options (all my options, including, but not limited to: employment, education, transportation, etc.) are limited. I have been working in a restaurant for over two and a half years, and I'm still making minimum wage. I get no more than 18 hours of work during any given week. I would love to find a new job but because I make so little I can't afford to buy a car; I have to ask co-workers and family members to drive me any place I need to be. I'm stuck in Pennsylvania, and I'm stuck at minimum wage. If you can help me at all, whether with money or advice, comment, or email me or something.

I'm just really tired of going nowhere.
